Skipper Alan Millington won the toss and chose to put Bowden into bat and it wasn’t long before young seam bowler George Forman struck, removing James Teasdale for a duck.

Fellow opener Ben Atkinson (35) formed a good partnership with Thomas Graham (50) before both were removed by Millington who finished with figures of 3-36 off 7.

Robert Shenkman (38no) pushed on for the visitors who eventually finished on 168-7 from their 50 overs.

Richard Palmer (27) and Tom Khares (25) made a solid start for the home team in their reply A quickfire 19 from Paul Garnett and a standout 53no from Aiden Khares supported by Joe Gill’s 15no saw the home side over the line with 3 overs to spare.

The last two weeks have been really disappointing, particularly with the bat. We have looked to strengthen the batting line up this week and I'm sure there's a few eager to prove themselves with a few runs.
We also have a strong bowling line up which I'm confident can deliver ten wickets.
