The First XI travelled to third placed Alvanley but were unable to extend their good winning streak.
After losing the toss and being put into bat, Brooklands made a horrific start losing their top four batsmen for just 11 runs.
It was again left to skipper AJ Hart, this time with wicket keeper Ali Buchan to get the visitors innings back on track. The pair resolutely dug in putting on 66 before Buchan was dismissed for 25 off 66 balls and the Hart for 41 off 63.
A well-timed cameo with the bat from paceman Rob Leach of 29 of 46 and 14 from Christian Potter helped Brooklands reach a respectable but somewhat under par score of 147 in the 50th over. Billy Ouzounidis impressing with the ball for the home side, finishing on 4-41 from 12 overs.
In reply Alvanley lost two early wickets but opener Michael Rowlands (41) and Simon Gee (31), followed by Arthur Brummitt (24) brought the hosts closer and closer to their target.
Raj Singh, making his first appearance since the beginning of the month led the way with the ball taking 4-34 off 15 but there was not enough backup from the rest of the bowling attack to stop Alvanley knock off the remaining runs in the 47th over.
