	On September 1st Brooklands CC entered into a sponsorship agreement with Stockport based tax consultancy service, TACS. The company has kindly agreed to sponsor the club’s ongoing youth development and schools programme. The sponsorship money has been used to purchase to new mats that can be rolled out in the nets at Sale Grammar School, we are also hopeful of purchasing some new stumps as well as marking the popping crease on the floor in the hall. With the use of the bowling machine and the ability to film (and hopefully playback) on site this will make Sale Grammar a top quality practice facility for use by Club, School and local primary schools.  May I take this opportunity to express our sincerest thanks to the TACS partnership and encourage you to visit there website at www.tacs.co.uk
	On the back of the proposal from TACS the club took the opportunity to double its money through the Sportsmatch scheme, a government run agency. Our bid was successful and will enable the club to fully update the sports hall as detailed above. May I also take this opportunity to thank Sportsmatch for backing our bid (www.sportsmatch.co.uk).
	Local company ‘Edge Consultants UK LTD’ has kindly sponsored the clubs 2006 tour to Malta. In return for this the company’s logo will appear on the kit worn by the squad. Mark Chilton meets our Sponsors
