I am writing once again with details of our annual golf day which seeks to raise funds to support Brooklands Cricket Section. This year we have continued with greater informality whilst maintaining the high standards of organisation and complemented by an excellent golf venue. I would highlight the great value that may entice a group of three individuals to enter as a team in addition to our loyal corporate sponsors.

The rules this year are a team of three players competing in a Stableford Tournament playing off 90% of club handicap, the best two scores per team to count. The maximum handicap is Men gross 21 i.e. net 18.9 (19.0), Ladies 30 (net 27.0). Those with higher club handicaps are welcome to play off this figure. The organisers reserve the right to request handicap confirmation from any player.

The cost of entering a team remains at £150.00 that includes an 18 hole golf competition, including nearest the pin, followed by an informal two course meal. Prizes will be given to the best two-team scores plus an individual performance.

The 1st tee has been booked from 1.30pm onwards and teams will go out at intervals thereafter. Individual start time details will be given in due course.
